So why is it that any time anyone accomplishes something difficult in a video game, there’s a plethora of people lined up to spew insults at the m for “wasting” their time?

You guys are just jealous. Wow, he loses because someone else can do it? This guy has practiced a lot, and although he doesn’t hit every note, this was an amazing performance, and I commend him on his skill. I know I can’t do that, and I can play Guitar Hero pretty good.

Wow that was great, I thought I was bad ass when i played ace of spades on GH1 on expert, and Freebird on GH2 on expert, but that, that was crazy, altho the guy that said that he didnt miss a note….your rock meter dont go into the yello unless you miss notes….

Why on earth would anyone be amazed by something someone did in a video game? Sure, he probably had fun doing it, but really that’s all it should be. His playing didn’t cure cancer, nor did it bring about world peace. When people flame us gamers for stuff like this it’s because even though most of us realize somewhere deep down that it really is just a game, on the outside we don’t act like it. We act like we’re the shit just because we can put a button sequence into muscle memory. People like this are why non-gamers think we’re assholes.

you as a gamer surely should know that it also takes reflexes to get button sequence correct not just muscle memory…

Honestly, if you don’t 5 star it or anything like that, don’t post the video. Yeah, congrats on beating it. I can say from experience its REALLLLY hard, but when I beat it, I got a good 100k more points than you did. The high scores are like another 300k over that. Its not longer really impressive to see someone barely pass the song with like 300,000 points and a crappy cameraman when people are getting 750k +.
But seriously, though. You did a good job.

I now quit playing Guitar Hero. I have just about managed to get some decent 90+%’s on hard on later songs on GH2 (Hangar 18, Freebird etc), I can’t imagine ever getting to that level of extreme finger flexing firepower! I salute you.

I can play the song on a real guitar. Took me a month and a half to get it down for the most part. I also play guitar hero and have not yet mastered this song on it believe it or not. You have my respect as a gamer, but not as a guitarist. I use GH as finger dexterity improvement, it helps for all you aspiring guitarists out there. All of you flamers need lives, not this kid.
